A History of Post-Apocalyptic RPGs

A friend of the show today shared a link with me to a series of blog posts giving a history of post-apocalyptic games. They are by Lowell Francis and are on his blog Age of Ravens. There have been nine parts written since last October. Lowell gives his perspective on the games and he sets the ground rules for what he defines a post-apocalyptic game.

I felt they were well written and informative. I was also humbled by the fact that there were many games on his lists that I have never heard of. It’s worth your time to read these posts if you have a love of the post-apocalyptic RPG genre and I think you do. I hope he continues since he left off in 2005.
