PCAGZ Ep 27 The Postman

For the 27th episode of Podcast at Ground Zero the topic will be The Postman.

The Postman is a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel by David Brin. In it, a drifter stumbles across a letter carrier uniform of the United States Postal Service and with empty promises of aid from the “Restored United States of America” gives hope to Oregon threatened by warlords. The first two parts were published separately as “The Postman” (1982) and “Cyclops” (1984) with the completed novel being released in 1985. A film adaptation of the novel was released in 1997. We are going to discuss the book, the Kevin Costner movie.
